I really like eating. Oh, and taking photos before eating. That’s what Millennials do, right? As a matter of fact, my hobby is looking for different foods and restaurants on the app called “Booky”. They have all the information of restaurants in Metro Manila and few provinces like Tagaytay and Baguio – restaurant’s name, address, menu, photos of food and even discounts. They also feature the top restaurants and newly opened restaurants in town.
I’ve tried a lot of restaurants in Metro Manila but I fell in love with Torch Restaurant. They have a variety of foods in their menu like burgers, pork, chicken, seafood, pizza, sushi, steak, pasta, ramen and they also serve breakfast from 7 to 10:30am. I was with my college friends when I first visit there. We ordered Torch’s Signature Roll, Volcano Roll, Philly Cheesesteak Pizza and Gambas Pizza in one pizza (Yes, you can order a pizza with two flavors).
I’ve been there for so many times, but what I really like on their menu is the Volcano Roll and the US Angus Tenderloin Salpicao Medallion served with mashed potato. These two are their best sellers. I am never a fan of sushi, but when I tried their Volcano Roll, it was love at first sight (or love at first taste haha). For the steak, at first I said I want my steak to be well done, but the waiter suggested that it should be medium well because they serve it on fire so the steak keeps cooking. He said if it is well done, maybe the steak will be hard to eat.
