REVIEW: Too Faced Born This Way Foundation

As a make up enthusiast, I was very excited when i got my hands on this foundation. I have been wearing this foundation for a good two weeks and I can say that I am more than ready to give my thoughts about this product.

Packaging

This foundation comes in a pink box with. Inside the box is a frosted glass bottle with black cap. This has a pump which is good since it’s sanitary this way. Also, this contains 30mL or 1.0 fl oz, which is probably the standard amount of foundation of every brand.

Shade and Consistency

I can say that this foundation has a runny consistency. I got the shade light beige and I can say that it matches me perfectly. This foundation has a lot of shade range from fair to deep so you can choose which shade matches you perfectly.

Coverage and Longevity

The coverage of this foundation is light to medium, build-able to full coverage. This actually layers well and does not look cake-y on the skin. This unfortunately oxidizes after a few minutes on me, well most foundation does since I am acidic. Also, this is not the most long lasting foundation, I can see that after a few hours, the foundation starts to break around my nose area and forehead. This is also not good if you have an oily skin. I am a combination to oily type, meaning I am oily on my T-zone and dry to normal on the outside perimeters of my face. After a few hours, I noticed that my T-zone is super shiny and is producing a lot of oil than usual. To think that I am in an air conditioned room.

Will I recommend this?

Well, personally I will only rate this foundation 3 stars. If you’re like me whose skin type dwells on the oily type, then i suggest you pass on this foundation. This is not a cheap foundation so why waste your money if it will not work on you anyway. But if you’re on the dry skin type, then maybe this can work for you. I’ve seen a lot of good reviews about this foundation, so why not give it a try.
