Bulacan: Most Heroes Hometown

Bulacan is a home of most heroes. Two of its towns are named after them such as Plaridel (Marcelo del Pilar), Balagtas (Francisco Balagtas). Bulakenyos celebrates Bulacan Day oftenly, this is when heroes from bulacan being recognized,their death anniversary or birthdays. Bulakenyos continue to relive the heroic deeds of those heroes. Aside from many heroes born in Bulacan, we have also many delicacies that we are proud of. Most of them are present during fiestas,birthdays and so many occasions that they put on the table for the visitors to try. The delicious taste and flavor of our food are distiguished among other food from different provinces. Bulakenyos are warm in welcoming visitors,guests and common people from different places around the country. Aside from the people here in Bulacan there are lot of great places to visit too! The Barasoain Church in Malolos is one of the popular landmark because the Revolutionary Congress Held here & the Inauguration of former Pres. Joseph Estrada . There’s also The Biak-na-Bato in San Miguel,Bulacan where the Blood Compact between Spaniards and Filipino Guerillas happen, and there’s alot more to discover & visit in Bulacan.
